An established real estate firm with a national investment portfolio seeks a leader to direct the planning of long and short term financial goals and long range plans and budgets for the company based on corporate goals and objectives. In addition the CFO will provide financial guidance across the entire organization, focusing heavily on accounting, reporting analysis.
The position will provide Unique Opportunity for a dynamic professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial setting. The CFO will report to the CEO and work directly with senior management staff. Day to day responsibilities for the hands on financial executive we seek to join our team of seasoned real estate executives include the following.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Managing and directing all accounting, budgeting, cash flow, internal/external auditing , purchasing controls and providing reporting to executive management.
Drive operational improvement in the day to day management of the corporate function.
Coordinate with external auditors.
Analyzing and appraising the company’s financial position and insuring weekly, monthly and quarterly reports in regards to financial stability, Liquidity and growth.
Monitor departmental performance against goals.
Providing strategic leadership and planning for the company’s financial operation and over sight of general accounting, reporting, financial planning and analysis and information systems.
Maintaining and developing strategic relationships with financial institutions
Implementing new systems to enhance productivity.
Reviewing organizational structure, work flow analysis of jobs function – increasing efficiency.
Overseeing tax season reports to investors
REQUIREMENTS:
Accounting/ finance experience / real estate experience a must!
Bachelors degree required, MBA a plus
CPA preferred – big four background
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong leadership ability and project management skills.
Minimum 10 years experience in financial operations with track record of increase responsibilities.
