Senior Co-op Property Manager
Our client is looking for an experienced Co-op Manager. This position will oversee a portfolio of 5-7 buildings in NYC.
Must have extensive experience with co-ops and be a self-starter with excellent communication skills.
The ideal candidate will strive to run buildings in a cost efficient manner and to maintain strong ties with building board members.

This position has a lot of growth potential to upper executive management.
We are looking for someone who can bring innovative ideas for our business and who has the potential to take over and manage the entire department of co-op and property managers.
You must be on call 24/7 and be able to travel throughout all five boroughs as needed.
Co-op portfolio consists of 1595 units in 55 buildings.
Duties include:
• Weekly site visits and inspection of properties
• Attend monthly board meetings and manage the flow of information
• Analyze, create, and control budgets
• Manage all capital improvement projects
• Supervise, motivate, and lead union staff
• Create detailed management reports in Word and Excel
• Possibly create and lead training programs within the corporate office for other co-op and property managers
Requirements:
A minimum of 15 years experience in property management
A minimum of 5 years recent experience in co-ops (100 + unit buildings)
Knowledge of building systems, NYC Housing regulations, and Fair Housing practices
Demonstrated ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to Board Members, Tenants, Union Representatives, and Executives
A four-year college degree plus CMCA preferred
Certifications a plus.
Must have a car and be able to travel within the outer boroughs 2 or more days per week.
Salary and Benefits:
Base Salary: 90k-110k per year (DOE)
